Where it all began
Canadian-born, designer & owner of Myskova, Kim Martin, grew up in a family of designers and sewing geniuses. Desperate to get out of the cold, she moved to Mexico and began a successful acting and modeling career. After years of modeling gigs, which involved wearing completely impractical and uncomfortable swimsuits and clothes, she decided to take matters into her own hands, and began designing a line of beachwear and swimwear that not only look glamorous and unique, but that feel exceptional on!
Kim Martin has now dedicated the past 20 thrilling years to traveling all over Mexico looking for the most beautiful fabrics and prints to use in her incredibly figure flattering designs. Her collections have been featured in numerous lifestyle magazines such as Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, and so many others. Without her customers which whom are her inspiration, our clothing at Myskova wouldn’t be as wonderful as it is.

Madelaine Myska, the daughter of the mastermind behind our designs, Kimberly Martin has been a part of Myskova’s journey since she was young and grew up surrounded by the creative energy that flowed through her home. Kim always made sure Madelaine was a part of the process. From modeling Myskova's collection of children's clothing from a very young age, painting rocks and making jewelry for pocket money outside of the boutique, to designing costumes by her moms side each halloween. Madelaine can't recall how many times she would sit beside her mother in the kitchen table as she watched her sketch new designs and carefully choose fabrics that would soon become the perfect beachwear pieces. Her mothers passion for creating designs that made people feel confident and beautiful was something she admired deeply.
Now Madelaine Myska is stepping into the role of managing our online store and social media platforms and is very excited to bring the same personalized, online boutique shopping experience to our customers. She will be sharing our latest collections and help guide you every step of the way!

Beautiful, high quality clothing and swimwear! I’ve had some of my swimsuits from here for years and as long as you take care of them and rinse them in cold water and lay out to dry after a day of swimming in a pool or the ocean, they stay looking beautiful. These are high end, one of a kind suits that require common sense care. Especially the tie dye suits that are hand painted. They are AMAZING! I get compliments wherever I wear them. Love everything about this store. Great selection of high quality swimwear & accessories. Whenever I am in PV I make a point of going to Myskova to purchase a swimsuit. I am shocked at DC's negative review of tie dyed bathing suit. Thought everyone knew that when something is tie dyed by hand the color may run a bit especially if you are swimming in a pool with chlorine. I rinse mine immediately in cold water and lay it flat to dry. I can honestly say that after 2 years of wearing my tie dyed suit it looks like new because I have taken care of it.
